At left is an assemblage of thermal images taken of the first thermoelectric sub-ambient air cooled and heated mattress pad, helmet, seat, pillowcase, and steering wheel, which are covered by US and foreign patents issued and pending with additional patents in process and to be filed in additional countries. Several of the patents are the pioneer patents that are the foundation of the emerging personal direct cooling and personal direct convective heating industry, and several of the patents are state of the art improvements in those products. All of the products, trademarked “MyClimate”, can be powered with batteries, such as nickel metal-hydride, lithium, and next generation miniature portable fuel cells, in addition to AC line power and vehicle electrical systems, and licenses for some of them are available.
